Less Meat, Better Meat
The Issue
I pledge to help protect life-saving antibiotics from overuse by purchasing meat raised with responsible antibiotic use. At grocery stores, I will purchase products labeled as “raised without antibiotics,” “no antibiotics ever” and/or “organic.” I will seek out restaurants (such as Chipotle and Panera Bread) that protect antibiotics by disallowing their use in production of the meats they source. While these products are more expensive, I recognize that by purchasing less meat/better meat that I am supporting humane farming and protecting antibiotics. I also commit to sharing this Less Meat/Better meat guide with my family, friends and colleagues.
