As of today, Lennar management banks on a few residents to agree with the cell tower and to proceed with the meeting of the cell tower builder on June 26. This community meeting is an attempt to overcome our will and it is mandated as a necessary step to apply for building permit. Miller, Beckwitt & Jaffe, As one of the concerned homeowners in Gran Paradiso community, I am bringing to your attention the fact that Lennar's managers responsible for our property do not seem empowered to confirm in writing the cancellation of Lennar's plans for a cell tower inside Gran Paradiso. Moreover, at the May 29 meeting with Lennar management, a few hundred people who attended, or connected via phone, expressed their opposition to this cell tower. At the meeting, Lennar representatives have said that they will cancel the deal. However, when given a deadline by June 8 to confirm in writing that they will cancel any activity regarding the cell tower plans, their reply was they will go ahead with a meeting with the cell tower company in the community. These are simply tactics to overcome our will to reject the cell tower. We respectfully request that you instruct the appropriate management level to confirm in writing to us the following, by close of business on Tuesday, June 5, 2018: 1. the cell tower plans for our community are nullified; 2. the parcel land will remain as originally plated in the West Villages Improvement District Village Development Pattern Plan and dedicated for common property usage; 3. planned meetings of the cell tower builder with the community are cancelled and any related activity is ceased.
