LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu is repetitive with straight couples with the same exact story line of how they got together. As far as I’m concerned all the ninja except for one are into girls. Cole is the only ninja who seems to not have a canon sexuality, canonically not being really into in any female. There have been hints throughout the show that he might be gay, “I could kiss ronin” and his season 8 gi is the color of the bear flag, which is a gay man on the more manly side. Though it’s not canonically said if Cole is actually gay, but a good percent of the fandom believes Ninjago should have LGBTQ+ rep, and that character to show the rep should definitely be Cole. Cartoon Network has shows with LGBTQ+ and LEGO has participated in a pride parade, there is no excuse on Cole not being gay. The story line and plot could be great, and also help many other LGBTQ+ fans of the show if a main character where to represent them, and maybe their favorite show supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
