Problem
Whereas: It is apparent the Ontario has ignored the interests and needs of Northern Ontario for far too long, and that many problems and woes have accumulated in the region. Lack of representation in both the provincial and federal legislatures, along with a limited transportation network and not taking advantage of the rich natural recourses the land carries. 

Solution
I propose that not only Northern Ontario should split from the South, but also split in of itself to become two provinces based solely on the geography: Northwestern Ontario and Northeastern Ontario. Both regions have more citizens than the province of P.E.I. , and would be able to sustain themselves. I believe it is necessary for Northern Ontario to be two provinces is because the two regions are distinct from one another, mainly that NE Ontario has more francophone residents and is more bi-lingual than NW Ontario.

Names of the proposed capitals and their respective capitals shouldn't matter for now as the goal of making this a reality is much more important.

I have friends who live in Northern Ontario, who often feel like the provincial government has failed them.
