We, the undersigned, urge the Wyoming Legislature to enact laws legalizing both medical and recreational marijuana throughout the state.

Legalizing marijuana will provide numerous benefits, including:

 1. Boosting the Economy: Legal marijuana can create jobs, attract tourism, and generate significant tax revenue to fund education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

 2. Supporting Patients in Need: Medical marijuana offers relief for chronic pain, anxiety, epilepsy, and other conditions, giving Wyoming residents access to proven, natural treatments.

 3. Reducing Crime and Costs: Decriminalization reduces the burden on our legal and penal systems, freeing up resources for more pressing issues.

 4. Respecting Personal Freedom: Adults should have the right to make their own choices about responsible marijuana use in a safe, regulated environment.

Wyoming has an opportunity to follow the lead of neighboring states and embrace a modern, forward-thinking policy that reflects the changing attitudes of its residents.
