The Issue

Waking up West Virginia and It's lawmakers is crucial. Sign this today and let our voices be heard that criminalizing cannabis is an outdated practice built on ignorance, racism, and fundamental ideas that no longer apply in an advanced, educated world. Stop police from using cannabis as a "free pass" to harass law-abiding citizens seeking relief away from Big Pharma and Big Hospital organizations due to increased prescription costs and availability of treatment. Medical cannabis is so expensive to register for and there's little to no assistance to help pay for these fees. The groundwork has been laid in other states, I seek to open the eyes of our elected leaders to a new world of possibilities by honoring reciprocity with laws and programs other states have implemented and to cooperate with those other states to expedite cannabis reform in WV.

It is my hope that we can present this petition to our state legislators to make our voices directly heard on what exactly we the people want to make happen. I hope to get the backing of a local group already pushing for decriminalization and to help take that a step further. With enough signatures, we can make a noise here. Let your noise be heard instead of falling on deaf ears no longer concerned with your well-being. Thank you for taking the time to read. Best to all.
