Indian women should have the right to legally carry Tasers or Stun Guns as a means of self-defence. Given the alarming prevalence of crimes against women, it's critical to empower women by lawfully providing them with protection tools. Tasers and Stun Guns have proven to be non-lethal, yet effective means of defence. It should be the right of every Indian woman to carry these with themselves on all forms of transport mediums- buses, trains, flights, etc. We call upon the Indian Authorities to revise the existing law, recognising Tasers and Stun Guns as legal self-defence instruments for women.
