In the United States the legal age for the states that have legalized Recreational Marijuana is 21 years of age. Teens are still going to buy weed from the streets and it’s just going to be less dangerous if they can get it from dispensaries especially with the rise of fentanyl laced products. People are able to join some branches of the Military at 17 and get there permit at 16 to operate a motor vehicle these are not the best examples in the slightest but just look at all the other research out there on recreational Marijuana and there are effects on the brain but, through extensive Research a lot of people would say that 18 would be a reasonable age when people can make an informed decision to consume cannabis and other recreational Marijuana products. From where this argument and the people backing it are standing it’s led to more harm than good to have a higher legal age to consume recreational Marijuana. And that is why it should be a legal age of 18.
