Left Behind; As PPRA Abandons Black Youth prospective Principals

Left Behind; As PPRA Abandons Black Youth prospective Principals
The Issue
In 2014, PPRA launched the “One Learner, One Property Practitioner” program, promising to uplift disadvantaged black youth, guide them to full qualifications, and incubate them as real estate business leaders. Yet, years later, the original cohort remains sidelined by new management, left without the promised support, proper program exit, or the recognition they deserve.
While the new CEO, Thato Ramaili, pushes forward with new projects and cohorts, the original participants are forgotten. We demand that CEO Ramaili fulfils PPRA’s mandate by prioritizing the initial group of youth transformation program by ensuring they complete the program and receive the incubation, resources, and celebration they were promised. This isn’t just about individual success; it’s about real transformation and delivering on commitments to previously disadvantaged black people in real estate.
Sign now to demand that PPRA stops overlooking at the initial recruited cohort and that meaningful transformation is delivered by honoring the full completion of this journey.
