Campaign groups estimate that approximately 10,000 greyhounds go unaccounted for, presumed dead each year in the UK. The greyhound racing industry is self regulated by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain [GBGB]. Campaign Groups believe that the GBGB is non-transparent and proving to seriously fail the welfare of the dogs. The UK is known for its large volume of animal lovers and the general public are becoming increasingly aware of the cruelty involved in forms of entertainment that use animals.

We urge all members of the public not to support any company that endorses cruelty to animals by promoting any form of entertainment that uses animals to make profit with little or no concern of welfare issues.
