My kids love playing on the new slide at Derby High Park. It's become a favourite spot for our family outings. The laughter and joy it brings to them and many other children in our community are priceless. I believe your kids enjoy it just as much. However, there's been talk about altering this slide, and I'm genuinely worried that if changed, it will be overcorrected and lose its charm and appeal.

The new slide has been a tremendous success since its installation, captivating the hearts of the young ones who frequent the park. It meets all safety standards, and more importantly, it has been designed to encourage fun and active play. Children of all ages find it exciting and engaging, which contributes to their physical and social development. Overhauling such a well-loved feature could disrupt the positive experiences children have enjoyed so far.

Moreover, our community came together to support the enhancement of facilities at Derby High Park. The new slide is a product of those collective efforts, reflecting the wishes of local families who wanted a fun and safe place for their children. Changing it now might not only result in unnecessary expenses but also disregard the community's voice and intentions.
