Thank you to everybody who has signed and continues to sign the petition. It’s a great response from the local community and shows how much we love the name, the Cross Hands.

So finally, I have had contact from one of the founders of dodo pubs and they want to have a meeting. I do wonder if it’s too Little too late, but I’m willing to listen to what they have to say.

Don’t believe what they have said on Facebook, they have not been trying to contact me, ever. 
I do think sadly that the damage has been done and it’s down to the community to show their feelings as you have so far done.

We must remember it’s still a pub and not flats which would have been worse and as far as I’m concerned, it will always be the cross hands. All be it , one run by people who ignore the feelings of their community.
