To all parents of the 5 Towns whose busing is from the Lawrence School District. We know why this is important and why it must be fixed immediately. Sign the following petition to the Lawrence School Board:

To whom it may concern: 

We, the undersigned parents, feel it necessary to reach out to you regarding the state of busing in the District. 

Knowing that you have received myriad reports of unsatisfactory and even dangerous conditions for the busing of our children, we do not need to go into deep detail regarding examples of what we are referencing. Suffice it to say that there are many cases that go beyond inconvenience, and are actual issues of liability and safety of our children. The situation has become untenable.

We, therefore, humbly request that the District School Board do everything in their power to rectify this situation at the first opportunity. 

We know we are asking a lot, but the well-being of our children is at stake and we know that you are as concerned about our kids as much as we are. 

We greatly appreciate your kind consideration of this very real problem and your assistance with fixing it.
