We, the undersigned passengers, business owners, tourism professionals, and community members — representing the Asian diaspora communities, and international travelers — respectfully request that EVA Air launch a nonstop direct flight between Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS) and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE).

我們謹代表以下簽署之旅客、企業主、觀光業從業人員及社區成員——包含華裔美籍社群、東南亞僑民社群及國際旅客——鄭重請求長榮航空評估並開設「拉斯維加斯（LAS）—台北桃園國際機場（TPE）」直飛航線。

This is not merely a request for convenience. It is a call for a commercially viable, strategically sound, and community-driven route that we believe is one of the most compelling untapped opportunities in EVA Air's North American network.

此請求不僅是旅客便利性之訴求，更是一條具備商業可行性、策略意義與社群支持的航線。我們相信，這是長榮航空北美航網中最具潛力、尚待開發的市場機遇之一。

This petition represents the collective voice of a large and diverse Asian community in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Nevada is home to approximately 30,000 Taiwanese citizens, one of the fastest-growing Southeast Asian populations in the United States — including large Vietnamese, Thai, and Filipino communities — and a broader Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) population that has tripled since 2000, now exceeding 378,000 people in Clark County alone.

本請願書代表大拉斯維加斯地區龐大且多元的亞裔社群之共同心聲。內華達州擁有約3萬名台灣僑民、全美成長最快速的東南亞族群社區（包含大規模的越南裔、泰裔及菲律賓裔社群），以及自2000年以來人口成長達三倍的廣大亞裔美籍及太平洋島裔（AAPI）社群，僅克拉克郡便逾37.8萬人。

All of these communities share one common frustration: there is no direct flight connecting Las Vegas to Asia. Every trip — whether to visit family in Taiwan, attend a wedding in the Philippines, or conduct business in Bangkok — requires a time-consuming, expensive layover through LAX or SFO, adding 5 to 8 hours to an already long journey. A nonstop LAS–TPE route would serve all of these travelers at once, with Taipei's strategically central position and EVA Air's extensive Southeast Asia network making it the ideal single hub connecting Las Vegas to the entire Asia-Pacific region.

Las Vegas is not only the world's entertainment capital — it is also one of the world's premier convention and exhibition destinations, hosting some of the largest global trade events each year, including:

A direct LAS–TPE route would provide enormous convenience for Taiwanese technology companies, manufacturers, trade delegations, and business travelers participating in these events — eliminating the current need to transit through LAX or SFO.

開設LAS-TPE直飛航線，將大幅便利台灣科技企業、製造商、貿易代表團及商務旅客參加上述展會，免除目前須在洛杉磯或舊金山轉機之不便。

2c.  EVA Air is Already in North American Expansion Mode　｜　長榮航空已積極布局北美擴張

EVA Air launched its Dallas/Fort Worth route in October 2025, expanding its U.S. network to seven destinations. The airline is actively evaluating further North American cities including Washington Dulles. Las Vegas is a natural next step — a high-traffic leisure and business market with an underserved transpacific gap and a substantial, motivated passenger community ready to fly.

長榮航空已於2025年10月開通達拉斯/沃斯堡航線，將其美國航點擴大至7個，並積極評估包括華盛頓杜勒斯在內的更多北美城市。拉斯維加斯是順應此趨勢的自然下一步——這是一個高流量的休閒與商務市場，跨太平洋直飛供給嚴重不足，且擁有充足、積極、迫切期待直飛服務的旅客社群。

Las Vegas welcomes over 40 million visitors annually, making it one of the most visited cities on earth. The city's appeal — world-class entertainment, dining, shopping, and natural attractions including the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon — resonates deeply with Taiwanese and Asian leisure travelers.

拉斯維加斯每年接待逾4千萬名旅客，是全球訪客量最高的城市之一。其世界級的娛樂、餐飲、購物，以及鄰近大峽谷、錫安國家公園、布萊斯峽谷等自然景觀，對台灣及亞洲休閒旅客具有極大吸引力。

A nonstop LAS–TPE route would directly lower the barrier for Taiwanese and Southeast Asian tourists to visit Nevada, generating significant incremental economic activity for the state — in hotels, casinos, restaurants, retail, and tourism services. The Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) have both cited new international air routes as a key strategic priority for the state.

We respectfully call on EVA Air to take the following steps:

•        Commit to making Las Vegas a priority destination in EVA Air's ongoing North American network expansion. 將拉斯維加斯列為長榮航空持續推進北美航網擴張的優先目標航點
