Abby and Libby, two young girls from Delphi, Indiana, tragically lost their lives in February 2017. Their case has been widely publicized and has deeply affected not only their loved ones but also our entire community. However, recently there has been a leak of sensitive information related to this ongoing investigation. This breach not only jeopardizes the integrity of the investigation but also disrespects the memory of Abby and Libby who deserve justice.

This petition calls for a federal investigation into this information leak to ensure that those responsible are held accountable. It is essential that law enforcement agencies maintain trust with the public they serve by handling such sensitive cases with utmost care and professionalism.

According to statistics from The National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), in 2018 alone there were an estimated 748,841 victims of aggravated assault in America (Bureau of Justice Statistics). Each one represents a potential case where leaked information could have serious consequences on its outcome.
