Currently (28th Aug 2025), routine (non-urgent) GP appointments at Lakeside (Oundle) can only be made at 7:00 a.m. using Anima (an online consultation platform) or by telephone at 8:00 a.m.

A fixed number of appointments is made available each day, and these quickly become filled. For example, I attempted to book an appointment with a GP via Anima at just two minutes after seven on 28th August 2025, and all appointments had already been taken. On the same day, I called the surgery at 8:00 a.m., but after listening to the long recorded message, I found that all appointments had been filled by 8:02 a.m.

Every day, many patients at Lakeside (Oundle) are experiencing similar issues when attempting to make a routine appointment with a GP.

We respectfully request that Lakeside Healthcare (Oundle) allow its patients to book a routine appointment with a GP at any time of day using Anima, and at any time during opening hours using the telephone.
