VICTORY FOR LAKE FOREST IN COURT TODAY. This morning in the Circuit Court of Lake County, the judge dismissed with prejudice the developers’ breach of contract claim, which was the only claim seeking money damages from the City of Lake Forest. (“dismissal with prejudice” means the developers cannot replead that count.)

So, three of the developers’ four claims regarding the proposed condo building on Westminster have now been dismissed. All that remains is the Court’s administrative review of the City Council’s decision to uphold the HPC’s rejection of the box development on Westminster.

The Court scheduled a status conference of the administrative review claim for next month. We will continue to keep you updated.  Thank you for your support.
