We at the Carson Animal Care Center are asking for your assistance with Charlie A5229667-a three- year-old- female Pit Bull who has been on meds for CIRDC since 11/2 with no resolution of signs. A respiratory panel was submitted and she was found to be positive for Mycoplasma and Canine herpesvirus. Charlie may be euthanized if not responding to meds by end of day 11/15/ 2018 at 1900 hours.
Charlie must be to only dog in the home, and High School kid only. Please help get Charlie out of the Shelter ASAP
Here's another look at beautiful CHARLIE, she has a cold but is still amazingly sweet.Her family broke her heart and left her at the shelter because they were so busy. Now she needs help, she has this sadness in her eyes like she knows they aren't coming back. Please SHARE for her life, she's SUCH a beauty and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save her. Thanks!

Charlie was cowering when the runner approached and called for her. She had a low body, gave whale eyes and her tail was tucked. She appeared to be environmentally fearful and was avoidant of the runner. She was easily leashed after the runner came into the kennel and she did not show any signs of aggression. She pulled moderately on her way to the catch pen. While in the catch pen, she was easily collared and was hiding from the dogs behind the She was let into the play yard and she started to snap at dogs that would get near her. She was muzzled and then proceeded to care more about the muzzle than the dogs. After a couple of minutes, her muzzle was taken off due to her not snapping anymore and kept to herself. She greeted the dogs slowly and cautiously with her tail tucked. Her behavior was a lot better towards the end of time in the play yard. Her play style is gentle/ Dainty and is Selective.
