OWNER SURRENDER - RESCUE ONLY - NEEDS a FOSTER and RESCUE NOW!!
Sweet DICE has been in the shelter over a month and he is starting to lose hope. he is super small and sweet and he needs help now. He didn't do well on his assessment so he is RESCUE ONLY. Please SHARE a FOSTER and RESCUE would save him. Thanks!

> Dice was at the front of the kennel, he had a loose body wag, ears were back/relaxed and he had a soft wag to his tail. He began licking the runner's hand through the kennel door and was friendly with the runner. He was able to be safely removed from the kennel and pulled moderately. Inside the catch pen, he remained relaxed and was anxiously pacing the gate. He was allowed into the yard, he was friendly and allowed the dogs to greet him. He came up to the handler and solicited petting. He then explored the yard, keeping to himself but would socialize as the dogs came into his space.

> Dice was at the front of the kennel, barking in an anxious manner with a loose body and loosely wagging tail. He was able to be safely removed from his kennel. Inside the catch play yard, he was able to explore for a while. Dice does orient within about 30 seconds. He lied down near the handlers and allowed for his mouth (teeth), ears and front paws (nails) to be examined but was only tolerant. He even rolled on his side and exposed his stomach. However, when handler attempted to examine the dog anywhere past his back, he quickly turned around, his mouth closed and made direct eye contact. He would move his body away and avoided being touched near his back end. He did so several times and handlers did not feel comfortable attempting to examine him any further. This dog will need another handling assessment to determine if he will be available to public. He will remain RESCUE ONLY for now. .
