TODAY: Tell BOCA not to fall behind in the plant-powered revolution! Send a polite email using our sample below to parent company Kraft Heinz’ SVP of corporate affairs, Michael Mullen, at Michael.Mullen@kraftheinzcompany.com!
Quorn, one of the world’s leading brands in frozen meat alternatives, recently announced that it is investing £7 million (about $9 million US) into vegan research and development. The Guardian reports that the meatless company hopes to develop a “bleeding” vegan burger--likely to keep up with competitors like the Beyond Burger. Previously, in response to a 2011 Compassion Over Killing campaign, Quorn announced that it would introduce a vegan patty (its first 100% vegan item!) and begin reducing egg use overall.
Meanwhile, BOCA’s parent, Kraft Heinz, has had a tough year, with its stock sinking almost 19 percent in the first half of 2018, according to The Motley Fool. Investment bank Credit Suisse even recently took note of Kraft Heinz’ lack of product innovation compared with its competitors. It’s no wonder that its BOCA brand is clinging to the cruel dairy in its All-American Burger and other products instead of playing ketchup with veggie burger rivals!
Join us in telling Kraft Heinz that we’re hungry for more vegan BOCA! Email SVP Michael Mullen at Michael.Mullen@kraftheinzcompany.com using our sample below or your own polite message. (Don’t forget to send us any reply you get to campaigns@cok.net!)

Dear Mr. Mullen,
Have you heard the news? BOCA’s competitor Quorn is investing $9 million in vegan research and development--including a ‘bleeding’ plant-based burger! It’s time for BOCA to ketchup with the plant-powered revolution and drop cruel, unsustainable dairy from its products. If Gardein, Beyond Meat, and now Quorn can make burgers without cow’s milk, why not the All-American Burger and other BOCA products? Millions of consumers would relish an all-vegan BOCA brand! Thank you.
Sincerely,
YOUR NAME
