This petition is to ask #35mm film production companies, to REUSE plastic film canisters. To become more Eco Friendly.

Plastic film canisters can’t be recycled in Australia, as the rule of thumb is anything smaller than credit card size cant be recycled! so most plastic film canisters probably end up in land fill, slowly poising Mother Earth.

Recycling would actually use more energy/water than re using the plastic film canisters. These companies also have to keep producing more canisters, which uses up even more resources. So If we ask film companies to REUSE plastic film canisters we would be reducing energy and material consumption on a huge scale!

If we get enough signatures we can show the #35mm film companies we all love that we care about nature and we would love them to make a positive change to their companies!
