Health care should cost the same and be affordable for everyone. The high cost of health care is an incredible burden to employers, the government and individuals. Obscure pricing for medical services and different prices for different payers means that people have to decide about treatment without knowing the cost. People who don’t have health insurance are often charged more even though they are the ones who can least afford it. We cannot ignore the price tag any longer.
