In this 2007 production on the life and times of Tolkien, we find how the countryside he grew up in has been carefully protected. And his acknowledged dislike of Norman conquest affirmed... It is here in West Yorkshire that we suffer our REAL heritage and history seriously damaged. As i have presented in my previous evidence..
Real actual heritage has suffered. While we find great lengths have been pursued to protect the heritage of Tolkien. It seems that the Warriors Tomb, if built on in 1960, was so while Tolkien was still alive. So its possible the Emley Moor transmitter that was built only a couple of years before he passed away, might be symbolic to this. Particularly taking into account his connections to West Yorkshire.
We should consider this when contemplating the future of this shire and vale.
