Kevin Vuong has won the Toronto riding of Spadina Fort-York in the federal election. He was a former Liberal candidate, but was removed from the party over allegations of sexual misconduct. He was charged with sexual assault in 2019, but the charge was later withdrawn. Vuong is under investigation by the military for failing to notify them of his criminal charges.

Calls for Vuong to resign are numerous. Today, Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca called on Vuong to "examine his conscience" and not to take his seat in House of Commons despite being elected to represent Spadina Fort-York. MPP Suze Morrison slammed Vuong stating she is "100% over dangerous men not facing the consequences of their actions."

In addition to allegations of sexual assault, Vuong is engaged in $1.5 million lawsuit with a former business partner over a mask-making business. The plaintiff alleges Vuong unfairly cut her out of the business. The Liberals knew about these allegations, and let Vuong run despite violating their own policies on candidates.

This petition asks Vuong to step down as MP for Spadina Fort-York. Having Vuong in office will further erode society's trust in elected officials.
