Ketchum has a unique character and quality that we must preserve and maintain.

We've all seen other mountain resort towns ruined by ill-advised zoning or exceptions to the code and Marriott is seeking significant waivers to the code in order to allow a massive hotel at the gateway to Ketchum.

These waivers include increased density, reduced setbacks, additional stories and significantly increased height limits.

One portion of the property the height is proposed at 72 feet and six stories - almost double the height allowed in that zone and two additional stories more than allowed.

As proposed, this development will be out of scale with surrounding properties, will block light and create significant traffic hazards as you enter town.
