Kerala Class 11 Students demand Cancellation of Plus One Examination in Covid-19 Crisis!

The Issue

India is going through a pandemic crisis of alarming proportions and the country is recording over 3 lakh covid positive cases almost on a Daily Basis. The collapse of the healthcare system because of the pandemic has been for the world to see. The same situation is happening in Kerala. About 30000 cases reporting in Kerala with TPR of more than 25% at daily basis.

Coming to the point, in Kerala Board, Higher Secondary Class 11 admission in 2020 was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic. The admission was only started at the last week of August and ended at October. The supplement allotment was done at the month of November. Therefore the class, which was supposed to start in June started only in November. So that the class are delayed. And the classes are going on online and Victers Channel. They doesn't get offline class still more than 12 months.

I'm also a Kerala Plus One student, I'm also depressed by don't seeing my friends and my school for about 14 months. While going through that situation, the government is planning to conduct board exams in the month of July. About 10 chapters are pending in Maths itself. Only two months pending. It will be a big burden in students and it will cause depression among students. And also the Covid-19 is breaking the records and conducting exam in this situation will cause a disaster in Kerala. So We are requesting the Kerala Government to cancel plus one exams as done in CBSE and so many Universities and protect the life of Students. I am one among lakhs of students who’s safety and future is dependent on the Government's decision.

I appeal to please sign and share my petition for the safety of lakhs of students. CLICK NOW Let your signature change the future.
