Like many young families living in Downtown Vancouver, we live in a condo, and do not have private outdoor space for our kiddos to enjoy.
Parks, beaches, and especially playgrounds have been our saving grace during the pandemic, but soon there will be rain and snow, and our kids will have less options and no longer be able to play on playgrounds. 
Parents, including myself, do not feel safe taking our kids to indoor play gyms, community centres, and/or libraries, and hope there are other options for keeping their children active, engaged and socialized during this pandemic. 

I’m hoping our MLA, City Councillors, and Mayor can work on putting a budget in place for rain shelters over some playgrounds in the city.
