Apparently, some of us, the 2019 SPM candidates are launching a petition to decrease the passing mark to 5 and mark for A+ grade to 50 for Additional Maths.

I have no objection to the petition. Yes, to be honest, the exam question is proven challenging by most of the teachers. However, I feel sorry for the candidates who really pulled their socks to ace the Add Maths exam. There will be no difference to a 50%A+ and a 90%A+. This is unfair to students who have been putting in great effort in Add Maths but only to know that their marks are above 50% when collecting their results.

Therefore, I am launching this petition to urge KPM to look into the problem. In my opinion, adding a few grades higher than A+ such as S or SS will be a great idea which will not only maintain an A+ for 50% above students, but will also satisfy the 90% students.
