A bank plays a vital role in a comunity. Without a local bank it is difficult, if at all, to experience economical growth. In this particular case, the Town of Farmington is a rural low income, fixed income community. Forcing residents to drive outside of the area creates further financial hardship on them. There will also be an economic "trickle down" affect on those businesses in Town. The Town stands to lose much needed revenue to maintain its streets, the playground,the volunteer fire department, its law enforcement.
