I refuse to live in a world where we see damning footage and the offender walks free.
I refuse to live in a world where our system who deem these offenders a MODERATE risk to re-offend allow them to walk amongst us
I refuse to live in a world where women aren’t offered the same protection as offenders.
And lastly, I refuse to live in a world where just because I am a woman, my safety is compromised.
If this case had gone before a jury, I do believe we would have seen a different result. After seeing that footage, if this wasn’t seen to be Intent to commit a Sexual Assault or Indecent Assault then I’m sorry, but what hope do we ever have?
Sorry ladies. Remain on high alert at all times as you go about your business because who knows where and when these predators are. It’s now up to us to keep ourselves safe.

Please, keep emailing our Attorney-General. Keep the pressure on those who can get the OPP to re-visit this case and ask for an appeal, and make the systemic changes we need to keep women safe.
Our leaders have a duty of care to women to introduce tougher laws that make it easier to prosecute those who commit these crimes!
Next week, I'll be taking all of our names with me to Parliament to deliver this petition, and demand better for women.
