Keep WKF Mandate with English Karate Federation

Keep WKF Mandate with English Karate Federation
The Issue
As an advocate for karate in England, I have witnessed first-hand the dedication, hard work, and passion that English karate athletes pour into their sport. The preparation for global events like the World Championships and the qualifiers that lead up to them require stability, consistency, and the support of a steadfast governing body. The English Karate Federation (EKF) has been that pillar of support for our athletes, consistently driving them towards success on the international stage.
Losing the World Karate Federation (WKF) mandate would not only disrupt the incredible journey our athletes are on, but it would also shake the foundation of karate in England. The lead-up to an event as major as the World Championships is not a process that can handle unexpected changes with ease. Such disturbances in governance could have adverse effects on athlete training schedules, mental preparedness, and overall performance, possibly stalling or reversing the progress that has been achieved over years of hard work.
The EKF has a track record of successfully preparing athletes for international competition, which can be seen the results produced by the athletes in the recent years. It has fostered an environment where excellence is nurtured and athletes are given every opportunity to shine brightly when they are on the world stage. The change in mandate threatens this environment and diminishes the roles of those who are best positioned to propel English athletes to greater heights.
Let us come together to advocate for the WKF mandate to remain with the English Karate Federation, safeguarding the dreams and aspirations of our sportsmen and women. Join in this cause to ensure that the focus remains on what truly matters — the athletes and their undisturbed path to glory.
Sign this petition to support the English Karate Federation in maintaining their position and continue to provide unwavering support to all our members.
