AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a powerful tool for academics, health research and organization, but it poses a real threat to creative spaces. When we introduce AI into environments where genuine human emotion, connection, and passion are essential, we undermine the very foundations upon which the arts were built. Creativity is meant to reflect life and convey emotion, not replicate data patterns. By allowing AI to take part in artistic spaces, we risk erasing the authenticity that defines human creativity while also taking away opportunities from emerging artists many of whom are students still finding their voices. To preserve the soul of the arts, we must keep creative spaces human, alive, and imperfect, because that imperfection and human emotion is what makes art real.
