US Cellular has announced that their CDMA will shut down by the end of the year. This will leave many people unhappy and stranded without service because their CDMA is much more stable and reliable than their LTE and 5G. It also gets way better coverage, being able to travel hundreds of miles away while their newer networks can barely travel a few feet. Keep CDMA up, it has no reason to shut down. Many M2M/IoT devices are on CDMA, since LTE is unreliable. About 400,000+ devices fell back. Killing CDMA is a very bad decision. It is one of the last few CDMA networks up, so preserve it and save it.
