We usually use the Gregorian calendar during leap years and time zones. Time is more accurate that way.

However. a new calendar could abolish all time zones and cause more confusion for travelers. and holidays and birthdays will not be celebrated properly.

The Hanke-Henry permanent calendar is a calendar proposed by two professors that would simplify time zones meaning just ONE time zone for the entire world.

The news thinks that would end confusion for travelers and make life easier. but in reality it just makes life more complicated and confusing.

Universal adoption could happen on January 1 2017. This means that midnight would no longer be considered the beginning of a new day.

However this could cause more confusion for travelers as there will be night at the morning and day at night.

We as a family do not want this to happen ABSOLUTELY. That's why we are waiting for signers to sign my petition.

I have many reasons why I started this petition:

1: The calendar does not meet many of the regulations of an accurate calendar. since it has just 1 timezone and 30 days every month. Also calendars are not supposed to have a 30th day in February. It's all messed up that way. An accurate calendar is not even supposed to have an extra week

2: My family and my friends show no interest in adopting this new calendar. It's the worst calendar ever

3: These 2 professors (Steve Hanke and Dick Henry) are stupid. It's like they are thinking that the earth is flat when it is not

4: Imagine a world with 1 timezone. It can be confusing. Imagine a flat earth. If the world has just 1 timezone. it makes life more confusing. The news says that it makes life easier. but no. it doesn't

5: It drew intense opposition in Scotland. as it could plunge Scotland into morning darkness (The sun does not rise until 10 AM)

6: It's stupid that Steve Hanke proposed Indonesia to remove 2 of its time zones leaving just 1 time zone for Indonesia. That would put Indonesia in the same time zone as Singapore

7: It could plunge Jakarta into morning darkness

8: There would be no Halloweens and Friday the 13th's. and Chinese New Year would be messed up

9: Time would be inaccurate everywhere

10: It would go offsync with the earth's orbit

This proposal is INCOMPREHENSIBLE and UNACCEPTABLE. I am starting this petition to cancel the proposal of the Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar and let us stay at the Gregorian Calendar for the entire life of Earth. This new HHPC calendar is not as convenient as the Gregorian calendar. Even worse. the inventors of the calendar think that it is more convenient than the Gregorian calendar and they also tried to convince the world to think that it is the best calendar ever. IT IS NOT. Another worse thing is that the news says the opposite of what I think. So sign this petition now. My family and hopefully lots of people want to #StopHHPC
