The UFL has officially announced the relocation of the multi-time champion Birmingham Stallions due to the oversized footprint of Protective Stadium. However, Alabama football fans aren't done. Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed has officially opened the door to build a "right-sized," multi-purpose stadium tailored exactly to the UFL’s television and gameday business model. Sign this petition to show league leadership that the Capital City is ready to be the new, permanent home of the Stallions!

Dear UFL Ownership and Executive Leadership,

Following the league's recent announcement regarding market realignments, spring football fans across the country understand the reality of the UFL business model. Building a sustainable league requires intimate, packed venues that maximize national television optics and create high-energy home-field atmospheres. While 47,000-seat stadiums do not fit this vision, the state of Alabama's love for the Stallions remains unbreakable.

We, the undersigned football fans, urge the United Football League to strongly consider Montgomery, Alabama, as the permanent relocation market for the franchise. Montgomery is the perfect market alignment for the UFL for several key reasons:

Executive Political Will: Mayor Steven Reed has formally extended an invitation to the UFL, explicitly stating the city's desire to develop a "right-sized" multi-purpose professional stadium that supports economic growth, tourism, and community entertainment. The local government is ready to talk and cooperate immediately.

The Perfect Demographics: Located down I-65, Montgomery is perfectly positioned to capture the existing regional fanbase from Central and South Alabama. It gives the UFL an incredibly passionate, football-starved media market with zero competing NFL, MLB, or NBA franchises.

A Blank Canvas for the UFL's Stadium Model: League ownership has expressed a willingness to professionally and financially participate in building right-sized, 10,000-to-15,000 seat venues. Montgomery represents a premier opportunity for a public-private partnership to construct a custom-tailored stadium designed specifically for optimum TV camera angles, modern broadcast Compounds, and elite fan interaction.

The Stallions built a historic legacy as three-time spring football champions. Do not abandon a fiercely loyal market—let's pivot, adapt, and build the future of the UFL right here in the Capital City.
