We will be closing the online petition to "Keep the Senior Center for Seniors". I want to thank everyone who signed the online and hard-copy petition and your support in getting the word out to the community regarding the change in usage of the Pleasanton Senior Center with the newly merged nonprofit CityServe of the Tri-Valley. I am hopeful the City of Pleasanton will stand by their word that there will not be any in-person homeless services or shower program at the Senior Center, now or in the future. Please be diligent that this statement should be included in the mandatory "Service Agreement" with CityServe for the in-kind office space provided by the City through tax dollars.

This has been an amazing effort from Pleasanton individuals who worked hard to right the wrong of nondisclosure to the community! Special thanks to the Pleasanton Weekly Newspaper who broke this story and supported the truth.

My hope is the community will continue to protect our Seniors and trust, but verify, this new nonprofit.
