Hi Laingholm beach lovers,

We’ve now had over 240 people sign to keep the Phoenix palms — honestly, I thought hitting 100 would’ve been a win, so I’m absolutely blown away. It’s amazing to see how strongly Laingholmians feel about protecting the character of our beach.

Alongside keeping the palms, most people are also very clear about not wanting parking removed for boat access, and there’s a lot of concern about the proposal to add free gas BBQs.

If you feel strongly about this, please make sure you also submit the council form so your voice is counted. 

There’s also a drop‑in session with the council this Thursday at 6pm at Laingholm Hall. A great chance to be heard and show how much our community cares.
