For almost 80 Years, the U.S. Mint has been striking the Roosevelt Dime, it has grown stagnant, boring, and ultimately...bland! This is the first time in 80 years we have seen a figure depicting American Ideals (Liberty) on a Dime. And it has received quite a ton of fanfare from the Numismatic Community, this petition suggests making the Dime a Permanent Fixture in American Circulation. A pushback might be that you are disrespecting FDR doing this. You are not. For 117 years, America always depicted Lady Liberty on her currency, this petition suggests Honoring FDR instead via a Commemorative Coinage Special. FDR, among other historical figures would have NOT wanted to be put on coins like Monarchs, and arguably, putting them on coins is disrespectful to their memory since coins are dirty, dropped, or lost.

This Petition Suggests Moderately Changing the coin to prepare it for permanent circulation (Such as Adding an Olive Branch into the Eagle's Talons, Removing the Dual Date, and 'LIBERTY OVER TYRANNY') and instead honoring FDR's Legacy by petitioning the Mint to make commemorative coins which funds from sales go to Global Philanthropy and Humanitarian Work.
