Keep the Coop!

Keep the Coop!
The Issue
Our community suffered a blow when we lost The Barn restaurant. That spot bound us together, provided jobs, and served as a hub where we could all meet for the most amazing breakfast. In the face of this loss, we took on a new project, The Coop, a small food truck meant to try to fill the voids. However, the zoning laws are threatening to displace our gathering spot.
Our food truck isn't just a business. It provides community and familiarity in the face of change. Requiring us to remove the food truck from its present location (a parking lot owned by Gray's) would be a devastating blow and a big red flag. We are the connection between two amazing towns- Westport and Little Compton. The small businesses in Adamsville have historically been a bridge between them for many, many years, drawing in supportive townies and tourists alike. The addition of the food truck is our response to the loss we felt after losing a neighborhood staple. It's our way of giving back and our way of trying to keep us all together. It has community support; all we need is for the town to see this.
Let's stand together and push for change. Let our food truck continue to serve breakfast, offer employment, and most importantly, preserve our community.
