Hello Keep Squash in Willoughby supporters!

Since our last update there's been council elections, and while Tanya Taylor was reelected as mayor, there are some new councillors who don't know about our campaign.

We recently met with council officers who were highly sympathetic to our cause and indicated that there is potential pathway forward. Our objective is to get squash (and indoor racquet sports) included in Council's strategic operating plan going forward. Once this happens, then Council is obligated to support retaining and/or constructing a new facility.

The good news is that we have already drafted a proposal for Council to consider for inclusion in its new strategic plan. What we really need now is for more people to sign the petition and to email councillors expressing their desire to Keep Squash in Willoughby.

Also, if you would like to take the next step, you can register to speak at an upcoming Council meeting to let the Mayor and councillors know how important this matter is for the entire community.
