Hello Keep Squash in Willoughby supporters! A quick update to let you know the progress we are making and also to ask for your help. First the progress:

1. More than 1,700 people have now signed our petition, which is terrific.
2. As a result of your support and our hard work, we were able to secure commitments from several councillors who believe squash needs to stay in Willoughby.
3. We have also been able to secure a meeting with council officers, and they have shown that they also want to find a way to make sure that Willoughby keeps squash - and indoor racquet sports - access for residents.
4. Now we are working to convince the council to add squash/indoor racquet facilities to its strategic plan. If we can achieve this, then the council will be obligated to find a long-term solution.

Overall, we are making progress. Now we need your help. One of the reasons the Council is engaging with us is because they realise there are A LOT OF PEOPLE who care about this. 1,700 is a good number, but it would make our job easier if we can get even more people to sign.

So, can you please take a moment to SHARE THIS PETITION with a friend or family member and ask them to sign it? If everyone takes time to do this, we can double the number of signatures quickly. That would make a huge difference.
