📢 UPDATE ON THE SNAPCHAT MEMORIES 📢
We’ve seen the latest news from Snapchat about Memories. It’s good to hear that Memories are not simply going to be deleted and that they may instead be archived, with the January 2027 deadline.
But we are still asking Snapchat for more.
Not everyone can afford Snapchat+. People should not have to pay a subscription just to access memories they have created and saved over the years.
📱 Our message is simple: Memories should be accessible to everyone — not locked behind a subscription.
The announcement is a step in the right direction, but we don’t believe it goes far enough.
We want Snapchat to:
❌ Remove the paywall/paid requirement for Memories
❌ Stop restricting access to people’s own memories
✅ Keep Memories accessible to everyone, regardless of whether they have Snapchat+
The petition is still going.
