HURLSTONE WE NEED YOUR HELP: URGENT

We CAN NOT allow Ms Keegan to replace Ms Jan when her contract ends. Ms Jan is objectively better as a careers advisor in almost any and every way; she advocates for the future of the students, she encourages career paths of all types, and she does NOT use Jobjump as her only way of deciding students' futures. We LOVE Ms Jan infinitely more <3 because she is so dedicated and active in our career paths and supports the students forever.

What Ms Jan has done (all WITHOUT having a career degree):

• Sat through HOURS of university and external seminars AND TAKES NOTES of all those hours to give the students their best shot.
• She organises many revolutionary alumni meetings to show a realistic path in a future career where she cannot provide information.
  • This has helped so many students be inspired for future careers in Medicine, Law, Actuarial Studies, the Arts, Science, and more and she intends to do one for even more courses soon!
• She consistently posts and updates students on MS Teams to provide useful and insightful information that students do not know.
• She is up-to-date with all the emerging scholarships and useful opportunities for disadvantaged or high-performing individuals.
• Organised COUNTLESS work-experience opportunities for students in RECORD TIMES
• Supports all the students no matter what course or career path they choose to take
• Actively seeks out students and encourages them to participate in extracurricular activities to enrich their High School career and provide useful information as a Job Referee for students.
  
  • Helps organise and assists in planning exciting extracurricular experiences and activities including excursions.
• Talked with tons of external bodies to find benefits for students
