Keep Mr. Sabatino at CHS!

Mr. Sabatino took over as  Chincoteague High School principal part way through the school year. He has become loved and adored by students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community. As one parent recently put it on Facebook “He has fit in here like glove”. The current plan is for Mr. Sabatino to move to Nandua Middle School next year. And to bring in a new CHS principal from away. But why would you change such a good situation?  Mr. Sabatino has indicated a desire to stay at CHS.  Furthermore, Mr. Sabatino, an African American, brings much needed racial diversity to the CHS staff. Currently Mr. Sabatino is one of only two African Americans on the  CHS staff. Both are slated to leave next year.
