James Gerstner is a teacher for 7th grade social studies at William T. Rogers Middle School. Mr. Gerstner, a 2015 graduate of Mineola High School has been at WTRMS for 2 years as a dedicated educator and is also a JV football coach and varsity lacrosse coach at Kings Park High School. James Gerstner has had his own success as a player as he was an All-County in lacrosse, football and wrestling. The students love him at WTRMS and wish for him to stay because he makes learning engaging and supports us both academically and athletically.

Mr. Gerstner's presence positively impacts the school community, creating a supportive environment where students thrive. His dual role in coaching sports teams further strengthens his bond with students, promoting teamwork, discipline, and school spirit.

Mr. Gerstner is supposedly supposed to be getting laid off by the KPCSD School Board. Students of the school district are trying to do everything they can to prevent this, please help us keep Mr. Gerstner at William T. Rogers Middle School by signing this petition.
