Morley Post Office is an essential part of our local community providing invaluable services to local residents and  businesses.

After the announcement made by the Post Office that Morley Post Office is on the list of potential branches to be closed, I am extremely concerned about the impact this will have on our community.

The removal of this branch would have devastating implications for residents in Morley town centre. Unlike many other towns, the high street in Morley continues to thrive and is home to a wide range of successful businesses and has a high footfall of customers. 

I am particularly concerned about the impact this closure may have on older and vulnerable customers who rely on the face-to-face services that the Morley branch currently provides. Removing services, such as access to cash, passport applications and identity services, would be hugely damaging to residents with limited mobility or no access to the internet.
