Sir Allan MacNab Secondary school was once a place full of colour, over the summer it has been stripped of its orange and blue lockers and been replaced with a dull grey.

This change brings a depressing lifeless atmosphere to the school, effecting the moods and attitudes of many students when in class. Dull colours have no place in a school setting.

Our schools budget has been misused on something that did not need to be touched, all the while instruments need repairing, classrooms need cooling, and teachers struggle to supply students with the proper equipment.

All we ask for is to be given permission to paint the lockers with (school appropriate) murals and other designs. This would be done after school hours when no one is using them over a period of time.

If we don’t not act now and make our selves heard what’s left of our schools personality could be stripped away.
