The Toledo City Council has proposed legislature to ban the sale of kratom in all forms within the Toledo city limits.

We believe that the regulated sale of kratom does not pose any dangers to the community, and can have benefits helping those who suffer from opiate addiction. If the sale of kratom is made a misdemeanor, responsible adult users and recovering addicts will feel the effects, and possibly be driven to less safe alternatives.

By signing this petition, you are telling the Toledo City Council that you want kratom to remain safe and legal for Toledoans. This petition will be presented to the council on August 20th, during the Public Safety & Criminal Justice Reform Committee hearing, along with peer reviewed medical research detailing the safety of kratom usage. (Any signatures received after August 20th will still be counted, a final petition signature count will be provided to the Council before their final vote.)
