Kitsilano Pool, a beloved civic icon, is closing September 13th. At 137 metres, it is the longest outdoor swimming pool in North America. With the closure of the Aquatic Centre, and issues at the Brittania Pool, The Canadian Dolphins Swim Club need a new venue and Vancouver desperately needs more aquatic centres! Let’s keep the Kits pool open all year round – like the Kensington Pool in Burnaby and many outdoor lidos in London https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/green-spaces/hampstead-heath/where-to-go-at-hampstead-heath/parliament-hill-lido and other global cities.
