Julie Pluimer is planning to resign from FNR this upcoming Wednesday (October 18).  Many students have discussed this with her.  She loves her job.  She loves her students.  Most of all, the undergraduate student body of FNR loves Julie.  She is not leaving because she wants to but because she feels like she has no other choice.  Though the exact details are unclear, we feel that Julie leaving would be a great loss to our department and to students' overall educational experience.

If you have ever interacted with Julie, you know that she is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable advisors in this department.  Almost every student in this department has been impacted by her in some way.  She is the very heart of FNR and this department would not be the same without her.  Let's show our appreciation and support for Julie!
